Brownstone Apothecary is a black-owned body care company based in Chicago, IL. It strives to offer premium organic, handmade body care products for individuals who prioritize skin health. What sets Brownstone Apothecary apart is its commitment to using organic ingredients and crafting each product by hand.

Problem 
Brownstone Apothecary's original logo, generated through a free online tool, lacks adaptability and originality. As a new business, the rebranded identity must be adaptable to accommodate future product expansions while also conveying the aesthetics of the brand and setting Brownstone Apothecary apart from other body care competitors.

Solution
Building upon the aesthetic of the original logo, a new identity mark, coupled with a suitable type system, was developed. The identity system draws inspiration from traditional earth magic while maintaining a contemporary and refined aesthetic.
