I’m Micah Jay Pfeiffer, an enthusiastic and creative aspiring graphic designer with a solid foundation in illustration, motion design, and photo editing who is eager to apply academic knowledge and hands-on experience gained in design coursework. I am proficient in design tools like Figma, Sketch, and Adobe CC, as well as the fundamentals of graphic design. I am a dedicated learner with a strong commitment to improving skills through active engagement and continuous research. I am motivated to help others in all areas of my life, and design is no different. I tackle every problem with the goal of creating outstanding solutions that satisfy the needs of the clients while also creating a source of pride for me. I look at all of my successes and failures as learning opportunities. I know that I can always learn, and I actively do so every day.

I am recognized for honesty and hard work, embodying the designer who not only delivers visually stunning designs but also approaches every project with genuine curiosity. Aesthetically, I love to work with bold and contrasting colors, but I tailor all of my work to fit the needs of the client. When your client is happy, things run so much smoother. This is a philosophy that I live by.
Inspirations
Drawing inspiration from the rebellious spirit of punk rock, the raw energy of grunge, and the simplicity of modernism, I weave these influences into a unique, inspirational design style that resonates across diverse audiences. I find inspiration in many young and established designers who tirelessly work to shape the landscape of modern design while providing valuable knowledge to new designers.
Problem-Solving Methodology
My approach to problem-solving involves a comprehensive examination of all contributing factors. Working through the problem to find a solution that best fits the needs of the client. I begin each job by brainstorming and creating rough drafts. I encourage the client to provide feedback, and when an idea is chosen, I create all the needed assets. Basically, I trust the process to create cohesive and successful resolutions. You can take that to the bank.
Pride in the Journey
Because I have been a creative person my whole life, I knew that I would work in a creative field. I thought about and applied to art school a few times, but my obligations prevented me from attending. This has been a regret of mine for most of my adult life. In the beginning of 2020, I was faced with the challenge of need versus comfort. I decided that I needed to change my life. I applied for art school yet again, and this time, I followed through. I obtained a bachelor of fine arts degree from the Milwaukee Institute of Art & Design, graduating with honors. This has been an amazing journey that has provided me with the opportunity to realize my dreams and set my career into motion.
